Maximus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a defense client remotely, with required TS/SCI eligibility and travel to several U.S. locations.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and validating cloud solutions, including infrastructure virtualization, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC using Terraform.

Candidates should have a BS in a related field (10 years of experience can substitute) and relevant cloud certifications; travel 10-20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
• BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 10 years may substitute.
• 8 years of related work experience required.
• Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT-II certification required.
• Ability to travel 10% - 20%.

Responsabilités

• Research, design, develop, test, and evaluate cloud systems.
• Plan and maintain internal cloud virtualization infrastructure.
• Develop cloud solution roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Analyze cloud requirements within time and cost constraints.
• Consult with engineering on hardware, software, performance needs.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
