Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a Cloud Architect to assess and evolve the technology infrastructure, focusing on platform, data & analytics, development, and user computing. The role includes migrating and maintaining the company's cloud environment across multiple on-site locations and remote operations.

You will design cloud strategies, oversee implementation, and work with Engineering and IT Security to ensure proper cloud privacy and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience required.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related cloud/infrastructure experience.
• Ability to address technical issues across a complex stack including visualization, containers, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of software development, engineering practices, and tooling.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

About the Role

Assesses the technology infrastructure to include Platform, Data & Analytics, Development, End User Computing, and explore options for moving to the cloud. Oversees the process and procedures and strategies to migrate and maintain the company's cloud computing environment.

What You Will Do

• Creates a well-informed cloud strategy and manages the adaptation process.
• Designs, plans, manages, maintains, and supports, and any other technological duties associated with the organization's cloud computing environment.
• Monitors the consumption of cloud resources, requests fulfillment turnaround, application performance, and systems security posture and evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software as needed.
• Designs technical solutions on public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS, creating functional design specifications, reference architectures, and other technical specifications.
• Works cross-functionally with multiple teams to analyze cloud service provider SLAs, KRI, and KPI metrics. Collaborates with Engineering teams to enable their applications to run on applicable Cloud Platform. Works closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. Master's degree preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's or equivalent.
• The ability to address technical issues inside a complex stack involving visualization, containers, microservices, etc.
• An understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages, and tools.
• Strong collaborative skills and mindset, with ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation with the ability to convey information to IT and non-IT audiences.

Salary range: $104,000- $174,000

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
