Job summary

PMAT in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer III to design, build, and sustain secure cloud infrastructure for mission-critical systems. You will work across cloud compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, and security to deliver scalable platforms and resilient workloads.

Role involves collaborating with software, cybersecurity, and systems teams to integrate commercial, government, and proprietary software into cohesive cloud environments, with strong emphasis on Linux

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and sustaining cloud infrastructure.
• Hands‑on Linux, container, and Kubernetes administration.
• Familiarity with IAM, security baselines, and hardening best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain production cloud infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and containerized apps across Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive ops.
• Automate provisioning with IaC and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems teams to meet security baselines.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, Linux, containers, and networks.
