Job summary

AbbVie is offering an 11-week onsite BTS Cloud Engineering internship for undergraduates. You will help keep AbbVie's business platforms running and evolving—designing and delivering technical solutions end to end, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Preferred candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/CE/AI or related majors, with a GPA of 3.00 or higher, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related majors with a minor or concentration in one of the above fields
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proven teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity
• Technical and business insight, strong analytical skills, and creative problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents to keep platforms running smoothly
• Partner with business and IT teams to deliver enhancements and integrations
• Support the improvement of platform performance, scalability, and reliability
• Help track milestones, coordinate teams, and support on-time delivery
• Maintain documentation, support testing and deployment, and follow IT governance requirements
• Assess risk and support cybersecurity and data protection with business, vendor, and technical teams
