Job summary

Yoh is hiring a Cloud Engineer for a hybrid role based in Audubon, PA. The position entails deploying, managing and supporting Azure infrastructure, with 2x on-site attendance weekly partnered with remote work. The contract is 12 months W2 with potential extension, paying $59.86–$73.94 hourly.

Visa sponsorship and C2C are not available. The candidate will work with cloud ops and internal customers to deploy applications, implement IaC (Terraform), and evolve cloud governance and security

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure.
• Experience working with dynamic, highly collaborative teams, requiring close consultation and coordination.
• Ability to produce high-quality work products and thorough documentation with attention to detail.
• Ability to visualize and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and support all levels of Azure Infrastructure – including virtual networking, storage, key vault, compute, identity, security and platform services.
• Work with internal customers and the cloud operations team to deploy applications and services in the cloud.
• Evaluate, interpret and execute architectural designs, technical requirements against organizational standards.
• Combine cloud-native technologies with on-prem practices to support cloud migration efforts.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools (Terraform).
• Support a complex environment across multiple business units, subscriptions and services.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and evolve cloud governance, operational processes, and best practices for running workloads securely and reliably in the cloud.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure related to connectivity, deployment and/or configuration.
• Leverage private link services, NSGs, firewall, encryption, RBAC controls and managed identity in tandem with automation and monitoring to simplify and streamline security controls.

Requirements and Skills

• Previous experience building and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure

• Ability to visualize and solve complex problems

Preferred

• Azure Databricks, Azure Redhat OpenShift & Azure App Services experience
• Working knowledge of python or similar coding languages
• Azure Policy & Defender for Cloud experience
