• Establish Google Cloud organizational structures, IAM, org policies, networking, billing, hosting standards.
• Lead Microsoft 365 architecture and security initiatives (Entra ID, CA, Defender, Purview, Intune).
• Develop a roadmap for migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud platforms.
• Provide architecture and implementation guidance for new cloud-based and AI-enabled apps.

Job description

Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Architect – Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud to join a growing enterprise organization modernizing its infrastructure and expanding its cloud capabilities. This is a hands-on architecture role responsible for developing cloud strategy, establishing technical standards, guiding implementations, and helping the organization transition from on-premises infrastructure to a secure multi-cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will be strongest in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, with meaningful experience across Google Cloud, identity, security, governance, enterprise applications, and cloud modernization.

Compensation: $230,000–$280,000 base salary + bonus

Type: Direct Hire

Location: Remote or hybrid; Southern California and West Coast candidates preferred

Travel: Occasional travel to regional offices

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cloud architecture strategies across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
• Establish standards for cloud governance, security, identity, networking, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and application hosting.
• Design and manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, landing zones, networking, and identity services.
• Establish Google Cloud organizational structures, IAM, organization policies, networking, billing, and hosting standards.
• Lead Microsoft 365 architecture and security initiatives, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Purview, and Intune.
• Develop a roadmap for transitioning workloads from on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms.
• Provide architecture and implementation guidance for new cloud-based and AI-assisted applications.
• Support enterprise application, ERP, and Dynamics 365 hosting or integration initiatives.
• Define best practices for SSO, identity and access management, secrets management, monitoring, patching, and compliance.
• Evaluate technical designs and remain hands-on during implementation, troubleshooting, and proof-of-concept work.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Serve as a senior technical resource and help guide, mentor, and cross-train infrastructure engineers.
• Drive innovation and make recommendations regarding future cloud capabilities and platform investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise technology.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong Microsoft 365 architecture and security experience, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Purview, and Intune.
• Meaningful experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, governance, security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and migration planning.
• Experience with Azure Arc, hybrid-cloud environments, patching, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.
• Experience supporting ERP platforms, enterprise applications, or Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Experience working with AI-assisted application development or helping business teams adopt AI-enabled solutions is a strong plus.
• Comfortable being hands-on and implementing solutions rather than focusing exclusively on strategy or documentation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to work independently, challenge assumptions, and provide direction in a lean, growing organization.

Estimated Min Rate: $196000.00
