Job summary

American Express is seeking a Cloud Engineer to help build a flexible, secure, and highly scalable cloud services platform as part of a managed PaaS ecosystem. The role emphasizes automation, collaboration across API/UI/QA/product teams, and continuous improvement.

You will work on deploying scalable cloud solutions, applying latest technologies, and ensuring robust APIs and middleware integration. This position requires strong cloud and software engineering skills and a passion for learning new

Qualifications

Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Confidential Cloud).
Experience in creating REST APIs using GoLang and Java.
Experience with Cloud Designing, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
Champion associate. Great relational abilities.
Experience with NSQL databases.
Acquainted with agile development techniques.

Responsibilities

Foster technical solutions for upgrading the American Express Cloud platform, focusing on automation for highly scalable cloud services.
Collaborate with API, UI, QA, and product management teams to build scalable, high-performance API and Organization solutions.
Research and apply latest tech and libraries enabling lean product development.
Implement API/Middleware solutions integrating NSQL, platforms, partner systems.
Apply best coding practices including usability design, code style consistency, integration, unit testing, and code review.
Be passionate about building working software with a willingness to learn new technologies.
