Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the IT team and manage cloud-based solutions across providers. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, support backups, and drive security and automation efforts.

Responsibilities include incident response, architecture collaboration, and cloud roadmap input. A Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years’ cloud experience are preferred, with opportunities for certification and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in cloud engineering or related role.
• Experience with enterprise backup/restore solutions and cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and scripting/automation tools.
• Knowledge of networking, databases, and storage in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Terraform and EntraID is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain cloud services used by the Bank.
• Ensure backups and recovery using cloud-based solutions.
• Plan and manage cloud-related upgrades, patches, and modifications.
• Design integration of cloud apps with existing IT systems.
• Implement cloud security controls and IAM policies.
• Develop automation scripts and configuration management processes.
• Respond to incidents and support ongoing projects.
