Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a long-term contract in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role focuses on AWS-centric cloud brokerage, secure architecture, DevSecOps, IaC, and containerization. You will mentor government personnel and contribute to security posture documentation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, SAFe, RMF/NIST controls, and multi-account cloud environments. This is an on-site opportunity with near-Mechanicsburg requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on Secure Computing Architecture, Cloud Brokerage Services, Shared Security Services Management, Cloud Security Support Services, Cloud Governance, FedRAMP coordination, and DoD Cloud certification.
• Lead/participate in SAFe principles in the development and management of cloud services.
• Mentor government personnel as part of daily operations.
• Incorporate RMF/NIST controls, continuous monitoring, and risk reporting.
• Monitor vulnerability management including POA&M closures.
• Foster continuous process improvement and team collaboration.
• Author service evaluations and architecture decisions for AWS services with IL4/IL5 constraints and cost considerations.
