Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk seeks a Cloud Solution Architect to support a long-term contract in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will guide secure computing architecture, cloud brokerage services, and governance while coordinating FedRAMP and DoD compliance.

Responsibilities include leading SAFe-aligned workflows, mentoring government personnel, and driving RMF/NIST security controls across large multi-account AWS environments. Strong networking and security expertise required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate and IAT-2 Sec+.
Minimum 5+ years in DoD architecture frameworks, ATO, and DoD Zero Trust.
Experience with IaC (AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform).
Hands-on with ECS/EKS, VPC design, multi-account networks.
Strong communication with senior government staff.
Knowledge of FedRAMP and cloud governance.
Proactive in RMF/NIST risk management.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on Secure Computing Architecture, Cloud Brokerage Services, Shared Security Services Management, Cloud Security Support Services, Cloud Governance, FedRAMP coordination, and cloud certification.
Provide leadership in SAFe principles in development of workflows and cloud service management.
Mentor government personnel as part of daily operations.
Incorporate RMF NIST SP 800-37 risk management and monitoring.
Monitor vulnerability management and POA&M closures.
Promote continuous process improvement and team collaboration.
Author architecture decisions and service evaluations for AWS tenant consumption.
