Job summary

JFC Staffing Companies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and secure Azure-based cloud environments for diverse clients. You will lead architecture planning, automate provisioning, and manage data pipelines while coordinating with teams and clients to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on cloud experience, a relevant associate degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting cloud architecture in Azure.
• Associate degree in CS/IT or equivalent; Azure certs are a plus.
• Solid background in networking and telecom systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Familiar with Office 365 and remote hardware/software management.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across client environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Lead cloud architecture planning for fault tolerance and cost efficiency.
• Build data pipelines, data models, and SQL workflows for BI/analytics.
• Install and manage physical servers, VMs, and workstations.
• Automate provisioning with PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or similar IaC tools.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs for secure networking.

Key requirements for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role include:

• A minimum of 3years of hands-on experience supporting cloud architecture, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
• An associate degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent certifications; Azure certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong background in network and telecommunication systems, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly in both written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications and remote hardware/software management.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently across multiple client environments.

Main responsibilities involve:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, secure cloud solutions primarily in Microsoft Azure, including Data Lake, Data Factory, DevOps, and backup strategies.
• Leading cloud architecture planning, with focus on fault tolerance, cost efficiency, high availability, and automated scaling.
• Building and managing data pipelines, data models, and SQL workflows to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Installing, configuring, and managing physical servers, virtual machines, and workstations aligned with performance and security standards.
• Developing and automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment using PowerShell, ARM/Bicep templates, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Setting up, configuring, and maintaining network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal security and network segmentation.
• Integrating third-party applications into client environments, maintaining performance and security standards.
• Monitoring system performance, capacity planning, and proactively addressing potential bottlenecks or risks.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, network, and voice/phone system issues within varied client setups.
• Managing identity and access logs, provisioning accounts, and supporting role-based access control.
• Collaborating with teams and clients for project requirements gathering, solution proposals, and timely project completion.
• Mentoring junior team members and support staff, providing technical guidance.
• Supporting telecommunication account setup and management for corporate and retail clients.
• Developing knowledge of AWS services to support hybrid cloud strategies, e-commerce platforms, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Participating in an on-call rotation outside of regular hours, which may include nights and weekends.
• Flexibility in work scheduling based on supervisor directives and organizational needs.
• Additional duties as assigned to support team and client success.
