Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Lutz, Florida for a long-term contract. The role requires Azure knowledge, IaC, DevOps, and Terraform, with hands-on work in Azure DevOps, Git, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities include managing Azure compute/storage, virtual WAN, RBAC, and security postures via Defender for Cloud and Secure Score, plus CI/CD pipelines and Terraform-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC, DevOps, and Terraform; Azure DevOps, Git, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
• Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship now and/or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work with Azure compute and storage services.
• Work with Azure Virtual WAN and private endpoints.
• Support hybrid connectivity and RBAC.
• Utilize Azure Advisor and Secure Score.
• Work with Defender for Cloud and Azure DevOps.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Git for source control.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and utilize PowerShell scripting.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field .
• General knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and Terraform .
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
• Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship now and/or in the future.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Azure design principles, including:
  • Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
  • Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
