Job summary

JSM Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional to join our DevOps-focused team in New York. You will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable operations across projects.

You will work with Terraform, Cloud Build, and GitHub Actions, coordinating with agile teams to deliver iterative enhancements and observability through logs and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or systems administration, incl. 2+ years in a public cloud environment.
• 3+ years of experience with GCP, incl. Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, Secret Manager.
• 3+ years of Terraform, reading/writing/modifying infrastructure code.
• 3+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions or equivalent).
• 3+ years with GitHub and Git workflows, including PRs and branch management.
• 2+ years in an Agile delivery environment with sprint ceremonies.
• 1 year of Splunk for log analysis and observability.
• 1 year of static code analysis tools like SonarQube in CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s Degree: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate (HashiCorp).

Job description

• 60 months of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration, including at least 2 years in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure considered)
• 36 months of experience with GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and Secret Manager
• 36 months of experience with Terraform, including reading, writing, and modifying infrastructure code within established patterns
• 36 months of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• 36 months of experience with GitHub and Git workflows, including pull requests and branch management
• 24 months of experience in an Agile delivery environment, including sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery
• 12 months of experience with Splunk for log analysis and observability
• 12 months of experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube within a CI/CD pipeline
• Bachelor's Degree Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
