Job summary

JSM Consulting Inc. seeks a cloud infrastructure engineer with strong DevOps and systems administration background to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud solutions in a public cloud environment.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub workflows, Agile delivery, and observability tools like Splunk, with familiarity in secure IAM and secret management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infra, DevOps, or sysadmin roles.
• Public cloud experience with GCP preferred; AWS/Azure also acceptable.
• Terraform experience with infrastructure code in established patterns.
• CI/CD pipelines experience with Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• GitHub workflows and branch management proficiency.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and sprint ceremonies.
• Splunk for log analysis and observability.
• Experience with static code analysis in CI/CD pipelines (SonarQube).
• Bachelor's degree; cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate.

• 60 months of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration, including at least 2 years in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure considered)
• 36 months of experience with GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and Secret Manager
• 36 months of experience with Terraform, including reading, writing, and modifying infrastructure code within established patterns
• 36 months of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• 36 monthsof experience with GitHub and Git workflows, including pull requests and branch management
• 24 months of experience in an Agile delivery environment, including sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery
• 12 months of experience with Splunk for log analysis and observability
• 12 months of experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube within a CI/CD pipeline Bachelor's Degree Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
