Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer in Michigan to own the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices and AI platform operations. You will provision and secure Azure resources, and deploy, integrate, monitor and scale automation and AI systems that power the business.

This role sits at the crossroads of traditional infrastructure engineering and applied AI operations, requiring strong IaC, CI/CD, containers, networking and observability across Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Kubernetes/AKS or Azure Container Apps preferred.
• Azure certifications AZ-104/AZ-400/AZ-305 preferred.

About the Role

Azure DevOps or Cloud engineer who builds infrastructure as code and pipelines hands on AND has started operating AI or automation platforms. The Cloud DevOps Engineer owns the full lifecycle of the cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices and AI platform operations. The work runs from provisioning and securing Azure infrastructure to deploying, integrating, monitoring and scaling the automation and AI systems that increasingly run the business. The role sits where traditional infrastructure engineering meets applied AI operations. It covers infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, networking and observability across Azure, plus operating AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Make.com automation scenarios and the agentic workflows built by the AI Enablement team.

• Preferred Qualifications ERP or enterprise systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365, SAP etc)
• Preferred Qualifications Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400 or AZ-305

Required Skills

• Cloud and DevOps Microsoft Azure: deploying and managing VMs, networking, storage and identity using infrastructure as code
• CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Hands on Docker experience
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python or similar for automation and custom integrations.
• Monitoring and observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana or equivalent.
• Backup, disaster recovery and patching
• Cloud cost management (Azure Cost Management or equivalent)
• SQL across relational databases

Preferred Skills
