Job description

Soni's client is seeking a Cloud Engineer who thrives in an Agile/Scrum environment, values human interaction over rigid processes, and iteratively delivers Minimum Viable Products at speed. In this role, you will help drive adoption of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud‑native technologies while working collaboratively across diverse teams. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo, pivoting when needed, and embracing a “test‑and‑learn” mindset to uncover the most effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD build pipelines for internal infrastructure and development teams.
• Build and maintain “Infrastructure as Code” landing zones and support migration from legacy infrastructure to IaC.
• Provide strong SecOps and FinOps support for Azure cloud environments.
• Accelerate developer and cloud onboarding through automation and self‑service tooling.
• Create reporting modules and dashboards for CI/CD usage, audits, deployment monitoring, and queue management.
• Partner with Development, Operations, and QA to troubleshoot issues and support scalable architectures.
• Build solutions and lightweight dashboards using standard full‑stack web frameworks (e.g., LAMP, MEAN).
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions and development of next‑generation orchestration capabilities.
• Fully leverage Azure services to design and deploy scalable, cost‑efficient cloud solutions.
• Work with RESTful APIs; understand GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and basic response codes (e.g., 200, 201).
• Prioritize effectiveness first, then optimize for efficiency.
• Clearly communicate technical information to stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
