CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Data Migration IT SME to lead end-to-end migration of sensitive mission data into a unified, secure, cloud-enabled data platform in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on data integrity, metadata preservation, and secure handling across multi-format datasets.

The candidate will architect and validate ETL pipelines, oversee large-scale enterprise migrations, and coordinate with system owners and cross-functional teams to ensure mission readiness and interoperability

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance required.
US Citizenship required due to government contract.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
9+ years of professional experience in data migration and data engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle migration of sensitive data from legacy systems into a modern data platform.
Preserve data integrity, metadata, and markings across multi-format datasets.
Architect ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows for cloud-enabled environments.
Ensure data accessibility, searchability, and proper rendering in new UI and APIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure readiness and mission alignment.
