Job summary

CGI Federal is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing across a federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on building automated frameworks, validating data migrations, and supporting CI/CD in secure environments.

You will collaborate with development, cloud, migration, and DevSecOps teams to ensure reliable, high-quality, mission-critical capabilities and enable smooth release verification and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of software testing/QA automation experience.
• Extensive experience with Selenium, Cypress, Robot, Postman or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong API testing, microservice validation, and automated regression coverage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, microservices, and data workflows.
• Develop automated test scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform automated functional, regression, and integration testing across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Identify defects, log findings, and drive resolution with development teams.
• Produce test plans, scripts, and defect reports; ensure regression coverage.
