Job summary

AWS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Benchmarking Program Manager to lead end-to-end benchmarking studies that quantify KPI-driven benefits of moving to AWS. You will own the study lifecycle, manage external vendors, and translate complex economics into compelling proof points for cloud adoption.

You will collaborate across teams to scale studies, design methodology, and communicate value to field and customers, shaping how cloud value is measured and presented.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design studies and communicate the market realities of running IT applications and infrastructure in the cloud versus a traditional data center.
• Develop and conduct new benchmarking studies that help customers understand the financial and operational benefits of the cloud.
• Own the entire benchmarking study process and the external vendor relationship, including creating RFPs and evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors.
• Develop and execute go-to-market and scaling mechanisms that put new studies in front of the field and customers.
• Design and manage program impact-tracking metrics for management reporting.
