Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in New York, NY, seeks a Benchmarking Program Manager to build and evangelize benchmarking studies that quantify KPI-driven benefits of cloud adoption.

Own studies end-to-end, manage external vendors, and shape how cloud value is measured and communicated across teams and customers. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design studies comparing cloud vs traditional data centers, develop go-to-market strategies, and scale findings to the field and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design studies and communicate the market realities of running IT applications and infrastructure in the cloud versus a traditional data center.
• Develop and conduct new benchmarking studies that help customers understand the financial and operational benefits of the cloud.
• Own the entire benchmarking study process and the external vendor relationship, including creating RFPs and evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors.
• Develop and execute go-to-market and scaling mechanisms that put new studies in front of the field and customers.
• Design and manage program impact-tracking metrics for management reporting.
