Job summary

Stadium Scene in Arlington, TX is looking for an experienced Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Platform Engineer to design, administer, secure, and optimize core infrastructure, identity services, enterprise apps, databases, and data platforms.

This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting, project leadership, documentation discipline, and operational excellence as the primary technical owner for SQL Server, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and Tableau environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, File Services, VMware or Hyper-V.
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of database administration, security.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary database administrator for SQL Server environments, ensuring security and high availability.
• Manage SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and cloud databases with patching and lifecycle management.
• Administer Tableau Server/Tableau environments and enterprise reporting.
• Develop and enforce database security controls, backups, and DR planning.
• Support data integration, ETL processes, and data services for applications.
• Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to improve data availability.
• Coordinate vendor relations and software upgrades for core platforms.
• Monitor performance, health, and security of infrastructure and data platforms.
• Document designs, runbooks, and governance standards; participate in risk and incident reviews.
