Job summary

VoltaGrid LLC is seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to build and evolve our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability posture. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, observable, and resilient systems.

Responsibilities include designing cloud infrastructure, managing Kubernetes clusters, and building infrastructure as code with Terraform. You will strengthen CI/CD with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins and participate in on-call rotations for production

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
• Terraform or IaC tooling experience
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Monitoring/observability with metrics, logs, traces
• Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS)
• Networking, load balancing, and security fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs; participate in incident response and postmortems.
• Reduce toil via automation and self-service tooling.
• Configure on-prem and virtualized infrastructure; system capacity planning.
• Collaborate with developers on system design and performance optimization.
• Participate in on-call rotations and production readiness for new services.
