Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Software Development Platform Architect & Administrator to lead platform governance, identity management, and SDLC automation. You will administer Azure DevOps and GitHub at scale, implement secure token and identity practices, and optimize CI/CD across pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Azure DevOps and GitHub in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and automation workflows.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and development lifecycle tooling.
• Experience managing service principals, tokens, and identity-based automation.
• IAM principles including RBAC, least privilege, credential hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Governance: manage Azure DevOps and GitHub orgs, projects, repos, pipelines, permissions, policies.
• Identity, Access, and Security Management: govern service principals, tokens, and identity automation; enforce least privilege.
• SDLC & CI/CD Enablement: build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Security & Compliance: deploy SAST, dependency scanning, secrets detection, and policy enforcement; ensure secure configurations.
• Architecture & Continuous Improvement: contribute to platform design; evaluate tools and standardize usage across teams.
