Job summary

AVEVA is looking for a skilled Platform Administrator to oversee Azure DevOps and GitHub environments in a hybrid California setting. You will govern platforms, enforce security policies, and streamline CI/CD across tools while supporting onboarding and automation services.

The role requires hands-on IAM management, token hygiene, and scripting for automation. Collaboration with security and development teams is essential to sustain enterprise-grade software delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Azure DevOps and GitHub in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and automation workflows.
• Experience with IAM, tokens, and identity-based automation.
• Familiarity with RBAC, least privilege, and credential hygiene.
• Ability to troubleshoot platform, pipeline, and REST API issues.
• Proficient scripting skills for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure DevOps and GitHub orgs, incl. projects, repos, pipelines, permissions.
• Manage platform governance, environment controls, and standards.
• Onboard, configure, and maintain development tools and automation services.
• Implement secure authentication and token lifecycle practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Support incident response and root cause analyses.
