Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. invites DevOps Engineer Interns for next summer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure across cloud environments.

You will support automation-first solutions that enhance reliability and performance of court/public safety applications. You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, improve monitoring, and ensure secure, high-availability software delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration (Windows and Linux).
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, IIS.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (DataDog, CloudWatch, SolarWinds).
• Experience with .NET Framework and web development practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (CloudWatch, DataDog, ELK) to detect issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
