Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking DevOps Engineer Interns for next summer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines across cloud environments. This internship supports automation-first solutions for courts and public safety software.

You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, implement infrastructure as code, and learn best practices in DevOps within a public-sector context.

Qualifications

• Cloud platforms proficiency (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable).
• Strong scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid networking, security, and system administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, IIS.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (DataDog, CloudWatch, SolarWinds).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to detect issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
