Job summary

Allata, LLC is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will focus on Infrastructure as Code, automation, reliability, and scalable cloud operations to support production environments.

You'll collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure efficient deployment, robust monitoring, and secure, cost-conscious operational practices in a fast‑moving, client‑facing setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and operation of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Strong IaC automation using Terraform, Bicep, and scripting.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
• Fluent in monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response practices.
• Ability to document procedures and maintain runbooks and standards.
• Understanding of security, IAM, networking, and cost optimization in cloud.
• Excellent collaboration with engineers, architects, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure for development, staging, and production.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and improve CI/CD processes for reliable delivery.
• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement improvements.
• Establish observability practices with logs, metrics, and alerts.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Support engineering teams with infrastructure and deployment needs.
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions balancing reliability, security, and cost.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain infrastructure docs, deployment procedures, and standards.
