Job summary

Essent Group Ltd. invites applicants to join an IT Associate Cloud Development program in Winston Salem, NC. This 12–18 month rotation offers exposure to front-end, back-end, data analytics and change management, with mentorship and a clear path to a specific IT role.

Participants will gain hands-on experience across disciplines, complete certifications, and contribute to cloud-based projects while building a foundation in Java and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in CS, information management or related field.
• Some travel may be required (less than 20% of the time).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Self-starter with good communication and teamwork.
• Foundational knowledge of Java programming and OO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from experienced IT team members.
• Perform projects across IT departments.
• Assist with and handle technical support issues in your rotational area.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software under supervision.
• Develop POCs and solutions using cloud principles and tools.
