Job summary

Avalore.ai is seeking a Cloud Design Engineer, Level 2, to develop, maintain, and enhance complex web-based user interfaces that interact with BigData cloud systems. The role covers design, implementation, and testing of UIs for cloud infrastructure, ensuring usability, security, and performance.

You will review and test software components, resolve issues, and contribute input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs, with emphasis on cloud information retrieval and data

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of software engineering experience required.
• Two (2) years in Big-Data Cloud technologies or Distributed Computing.
• Four (4) years in cloud software engineering may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, development, testing and documentation for Web-Based UIs interfacing with Big-Data Cloud systems.
• Propose and implement analysis methods for data stored in Cloud Big Table and Cloud Distributed File System.
• Oversee software development tasks and ensure delivery within project constraints.
• Contribute to quality control of developed software and improve documentation and standards.
• Develop secure, usable UI components with performance considerations.
• Utilize Java, Eclipse, Maven and related tools to support cloud and distributed computing projects.
