Job summary

Avalore.ai is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, engineer, and integrate the core infrastructure of the WDP System in the United States. You will manage cloud environments, networks, storage, logging, auditing, and DevSecOps pipelines to ensure security, scalability, and resilience.

You will architect cloud-based solutions, implement IaC provisioning, and design HA/DR setups while optimizing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• SECRET Security Clearance Required.
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification (Junior / Journeyman roles).
• SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior roles).
• We are actively seeking multiple levels: Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree; Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree; Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree.
• Good communication skills, self-starter mindset
• Professional proficiency in English is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and integrate the underlying infrastructure of the WDP System.
• Manage the cloud environment, network, data storage, logging and auditing functions, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Architect and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions and automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
• Design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions and optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement infrastructure security controls and mentor junior staff.
