Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator to support a mission-oriented data-centric architecture leveraging cloud computing, AI/ML, and cross-domain transfer systems. The role centers on OSINT data standardization across DoD/IC enterprises and integrating software to sustain analytics capabilities.

Qualifications include a BS with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years, 3+ years in database administration across SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, and a TS/SCI clearance with Security+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• 3+ years administering databases including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• 3+ years of database scripting using CLI tools.
• Experience on-premises and cloud database administration.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Security+ certification required; AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to extract, transform, and load heterogeneous datasets.
• Administer, maintain, upgrade, and optimize databases.
• Design and improve database schemas and data models.
• Document database design and interactions with other systems.
• Define data export/import formats and APIs with proper authentication/authorization.
• Support CI/CD automation and deployment operations.
