Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of database solutions across enterprise systems and applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for database issues, performance concerns, outages, incidents, and recurring system problems.
• Support coding, testing, documentation, and implementation efforts for multiple large-scale database projects.
• Partner with business customers, development teams, infrastructure teams, and support groups to understand requirements and deliver effective database solutions.
• Ensure database quality control, auditing, governance, and appropriate use of data across environments.
• Lead or support database migrations, upgrades, and modernization efforts with minimal business disruption.
• Design, review, and optimize database structures, data models, schemas, queries, indexes, and performance configurations.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, standards, procedures, and deliverables.
• Serve as a team lead liaison between business, development, and support teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Coach and mentor junior DBAs and technical staff.
• Monitor databases, troubleshoot errors, review logs, and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support cost optimization, capacity planning, and cloud resource management.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and per requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
