Innova Solutions is hiring a Cloud Data Security Consultant to assess a GCP-based ecosystem supporting conversational AI, telephony, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise backend integrations. The role requires experience in data security architecture and IAM, encryption, and data protection for PII and regulated data.

You will review end-to-end data flows, threat model AI-specific risks, and deliver actionable remediation recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience securing PII, PCI, or regulated customer data environments.
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance across cloud services.
• Ability to perform threat modeling and security risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assess data security architecture end-to-end from a security, privacy, and compliance view.
• Review data flows across GCP services, AI platforms, APIs, databases, and on-prem apps.
• Implement and assess controls: IAM, encryption, key management, logging, and monitoring.
• Conduct threat modeling including AI-specific risks and prompt leakage.
• Deliver detailed findings with risk ratings, gaps, and remediation guidance.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud Data Security Consultant.

Position type: Fulltime Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid)

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Cloud Data Security Consultant to perform a comprehensive data security architecture assessment for a GCP-based ecosystem supporting conversational AI, telephony, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess end-to-end architecture from a data security, privacy, and compliance perspective.
• Review data flows across GCP services, conversational AI platforms, telephony systems, API gateways, databases, cloud storage, and on-premises applications.
• PII and customer data protection
• Authentication, authorization, and IAM
• Encryption at rest and in transit
• Secrets and key management
• Logging, monitoring, and auditability
• Data retention, deletion, and cross-boundary data movement
• Review security architecture for Shared VPCs, network segmentation, interconnects, service accounts, and cloud IAM.
• Implement and assess security controls, including Sentinel policies, encryption standards, and database activity monitoring.
• Conduct threat modeling and assess AI-specific security risks, such as prompt leakage, model input/output security, and knowledge store access controls.
• Deliver detailed findings with risk ratings, security gaps, and remediation recommendations.

Hands-on expertise with

• GCP IAM, VPC/Shared VPC, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Firestore/Datastore, Cloud KMS and Secret Manager
• Experience securing PII, PCI, or regulated customer data environments.
• Strong understanding of API security (OAuth, mTLS, token management, service-to-service authentication).
• Knowledge of network security, hybrid cloud connectivity, segmentation, and firewall controls.
• Experience with security monitoring, SIEM integrations, audit logging, and architecture risk assessments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $55 - $60 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
