Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Global IT team in Piscataway, NJ. You will own enterprise cloud data platforms, design and automate scalable pipelines, and partner with data scientists to accelerate insights.

Responsibilities include architecture of Snowflake/BigQuery/Airflow platforms, IaC and CI/CD using Python, RBAC governance, and ensuring security, cost control, and SLA compliance across global brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud data platforms.
• Experience supporting data teams in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, BigQuery, and data orchestration tools.
• Certified in cloud/data engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud data platforms for high availability and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC to streamline deployments and monitoring.
• Manage data security, RBAC, and cost controls across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with IT/security and data engineers to define standards and workflows.
• Provide tiered support for platform issues and ensure SLA compliance.
