Job summary

Prodapt is seeking an experienced Data Lead to design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms using AWS and Databricks. You will guide scalable data solutions and lead technical teams through cloud-based transformations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data engineering and 5+ years in technical program management, with strong SQL, data warehousing, and Agile leadership skills. Collaboration with engineering, product, data, and business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, or enterprise data platforms.
• 5+ years in technical project/program management or technology delivery leadersh
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology projects from strategy through implementation.
• Strong technical understanding of AWS, cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architectures.
• Strong understanding of SQL, databases, ETL/data pipelines, and data-driven applications.
• Experience managing engineering teams in cross-functional environments.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data, cloud, and technology transformation projects.
• Manage project strategy, scope, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product, data, cloud, and business teams to drive technical initiatives.
• Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives involving AWS and enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to define solutions, dependencies, plans, and milestones.
• Manage cross-functional and distributed engineering teams to ensure successful execution.
• Establish governance, KPIs, SLAs, reporting, risk management, and executive communications.
• Drive Agile delivery through planning, prioritization, sprint execution, and releases.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, resource, and delivery risks.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps for data platforms.
• Oversee production readiness, operational excellence, and incident management.
• Support data-driven decision-making using analytics and KPIs.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships across multiple teams.
