Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering with deep Databricks expertise to lead the design, delivery, and modernization of enterprise-scale data platforms. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, client engagement, architecture ownership, and team management.

You will help clients build modern Lakehouse architectures, scalable data products, and AI-ready data foundations using Databricks and cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading enterprise-scale data platforms
• Deep Databricks expertise including Delta Lake and Databricks SQL
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
• Advanced Python and data engineering frameworks
• Strong Spark/PySpark expertise
• Experience with batch and real-time pipelines
• Knowledge of data modeling and Lakehouse patterns
• Familiarity with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift
• Proven leadership and client-facing delivery skills
• Understanding of MLOps concepts and AI data foundations

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and delivery of data platforms on Databricks
• Mentor engineers and drive technical leadership across teams
• Engage with clients to translate business challenges into data solutions
• Define roadmaps, standards, governance, and delivery approaches
• Oversee data modernization and lakehouse initiatives
• Ensure data quality, observability, security, and operations
