Job Description:

Client: Finance

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: 6+ Month Contract to Hire (must be on W-2 without sponsorship now or in the future)

Position: Data Engineer with Cloud/Pipeline Automation Experience

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools like Fivetran and Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• Work with event platforms on-premises or in the cloud (Kafka, Redpanda, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs, GCP Pub/Sub).
• Utilize stream processing frameworks such as Flink, Spark Streaming, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Develop and maintain event-driven architectures, CQRS, and event sourcing.
• Monitor and ensure observability using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Automate tasks and develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Support real-time analytical needs and ensure data quality and security.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with cloud data platform infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of event platforms and stream processing frameworks.
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
