Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions. You will own workstreams, drive architecture, and engage with clients and cross-functional teams across data engineering, software engineering, and governance.

You will lead cloud platform design and scalable pipelines on Azure (with AKS), integrate GenAI where relevant, and manage budgets and engagement economics while mentoring technical talent and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of Azure High Availability services.
• Expert knowledge of Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and related services.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform automation.
• Experience implementing SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets.
• Experience monitoring container-based microservices & Cloud Platform services.
• CI/CD tools – GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with quick problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business and client requirements into architecture, pipelines, models or production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from raw source through data pipeline, model/analysis and production handoff.
• Automate, optimize and drive efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Remain hands-on with tested, version-controlled, observable code.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability and performance.
