Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will design, integrate and implement on‑premise solutions, support migrations to the cloud, and own data warehousing and dimensional modeling to enable reliable payer file processing into the Data Warehouse.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL and relational database management experience.
• 2+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years on-prem data engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• SQL/Python/PySpark programming for cloud and on-prem data warehousing.
• Dimensional data modeling and data warehousing experience.
• Troubleshooting data issues experience.
• Experience with performance improvement techniques.
• Ability to own process improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
• Design, integrate, and implement on-premise solutions and support migrations to the cloud.
• Work in a data engineering team handling payer files into the Data Warehouse.
