Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver modern data solutions. You will design and implement on-premise data solutions and migrate workloads to the cloud, collaborating with engineering, analytics, data science and product teams.

The role focuses on processing payer files into our Data Warehouse with extensive experience in SQL, Python/PySpark, and dimensional modeling. Strong communication and ownership are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBs.
2+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
2+ years in on-prem data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark for cloud and on-prem data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
Hands-on troubleshooting of data issues.
Experience with performance improvement techniques.
Strong communication and ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
Design, integrate, and implement on-premise data solutions and support cloud migrations.
Process payer data files into the Data Warehouse.
Own responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-based support environment.
