Job summary

CHAMP is seeking a Data Architect to design and govern the enterprise data architecture supporting vehicle title, registration, and driver data states. You will translate business needs into scalable, governed data solutions using cloud-native tech and strong Python/SQL skills.

You will lead end-to-end data flows, model design, and ETL/ELT strategies, collaborating with stakeholders across the Data & Analytics team in a Cleveland onsite environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database design, or data architecture.
• Hands-on with Python, SQL, and ETL development.
• Designing data models and architectures at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data architecture strategy for ODS, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models with standards.
• Architect cloud-native ETL/ELT frameworks for data population and transformation.
• Evaluate tools and cloud services; govern data lineage, quality, and security.
• Guide BI and analytics enablement with optimized data structures.
• Document data architecture and decisions for technical/non-technical audiences.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data architecture with goals.
