Job summary

CHAMP is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Data & Analytics team in Cleveland onsite. You will design and govern the enterprise data architecture for vehicle title, registration, and driver data states, integrating dozens of disparate systems into a single source of truth.

The ideal candidate has deep data modeling and system design expertise, strong Python and SQL fluency, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in data engineering, database design, or data architecture with Python, SQL, and ETL development.
• Experience designing data models and architectures at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end data architecture strategy across ODS, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for consistency and quality.
• Architect cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines from transactional sources to the Data Warehouse.
• Define data governance policies for lineage, quality, security and access control.
• Guide BI and analytics enablement with standardized data structures for reporting.
• Document data architecture, definitions, flows, and decisions for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data architecture with strategic goals.
