Job summary

Empower LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to analyze, design, and implement scalable data architectures across cloud platforms. You will translate business needs into secure, high-performance data solutions supporting analytics and operations.

The role requires deep expertise in data modeling, SQL, and modern data architectures (data lakes/warehouses/lakehouses), with strong collaboration across engineering and analytics teams. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in data engineering/architecture roles, with 5+ years in data-centric positions.
• Strong data modeling experience (logical and physical) and use of data modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and translate into scalable data architectures.
• Design end-to-end data architectures for ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Maintain data models, data flows, and architecture documentation.
• Create data models to support dashboards and data visualization tools.
• Ensure architectures comply with governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to deliver aligned data solutions.
• Provide mentorship on data architecture best practices.
