DLH Corporation in the United States seeks a Cloud Application and Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud data solutions across platforms.

You will integrate applications with cloud services, optimize data storage, ensure security, and collaborate with researchers and data scientists to advance DLH's mission. Strong background in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, data modeling, and CI/CD is required; public trust clearance is a plus.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in application development, data architecture, and cloud computing
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data security

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement cloud-based data architectures that support the needs of our applications.
• Integrate applications with cloud data services, ensuring seamless data flow and access.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing in cloud environments.
• Develop data models and schemas that support business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud data solutions.
• Integrate scientific equipment and other hardware into our IT infrastructure.
• Lead the adoption of cloud technologies and best practices within our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
• Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to enhance clinical research applications and workflows.
• Work directly with data scientists, researchers and senior management to better understand their needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
