Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst on the Internal Rates team to optimize internal pricing and forecast AWS Cloud product usage. You will partner with stakeholders across Amazon and AWS to drive cloud cost efficiency and maximize Amazon's free cash flow.

You will lead cross‑functional pricing analyses, build structured pricing frameworks, and develop data‑driven insights to support executive decisions and strategic initiatives across AWS and Amazon.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tax/finance or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years contributing to cross‑functional initiatives that drive financial perf.
• 3+ years dissecting financial data to support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to establish and maintain internal pricing structures that are cost‑driven.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities with actionable insights.
• Develop financial models forecasting impact of internal pricing decisions on P&Ls.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement with scalable analytics.
• Collaborate with Fintech/Finance to automate manual processes at scale.
• Improve cloud usage forecasting with forecasting data science teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
