Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key leader in revenue planning and pricing finance for the EC2 business. You will partner with product and sales leaders to shape pricing strategies and drive revenue growth across services.

This role focuses on financial modeling, data analytics, and cost-aware decision making while collaborating with senior leaders across AWS Finance and EC2 teams in Seattle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy

Responsibilities

• Partner with EC2 product and sales management leadership to develop pricing and revenue growth roadmap.
• Lead pricing for new services and ongoing pricing decisions for existing services.
• Develop plans and operational strategies for new initiatives to drive service adoption.
• Support new service/region launches; understand cost models and drive pricing decisions.
• Support the business P&Ls and influence decisions that drive revenue/capital expenditures.
• Manage large customer deals; develop and evaluate new pricing constructs for the service.
• Provide deep analytics and communicate effectively to senior business leaders.
