Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Capacity Planner to build and maintain capacity forecasts across CSPs and regions, guiding investment and growth decisions. You will align demand with supply, work with CSPs on reservations, and partner with FinOps on cost management while mentoring teammates in AI-enabled forecasting techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, supply chain, data analytics or a related field.
• 8+ years of related experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience in cloud or infrastructure capacity planning across major cloud providers.
• Experience building demand forecasts and scenario models.
• Experience building reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a rolling capacity forecast by CSP, region, workload and resource type.
• Compare demand from sales, bookings and roadmaps against available supply; coordinate with CSPs on reservations.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and FinOps on lead times, maintenance windows and cost management.
• Mentor fellow capacity planners and introduce AI-enabled tools to improve speed and accuracy.
