Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a senior Cloud Capacity Planner to build rolling forecasts by CSP, region, and workload, ensuring available capacity aligns with demand and budgets. You will partner with sales, engineering and FinOps to optimize reservations and lead times, while mentoring a growing team across the US and Canada.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in capacity planning, strong forecasting and dashboard skills, and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, supply chain, data analytics or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in cloud capacity planning with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience building demand forecasts and scenario models.
• Experience building reports and dashboards.
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost management and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a rolling capacity forecast by CSP, region, workload and resource type.
• Compare demand with supply and coordinate reservations with CSPs to ensure timely capacity.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and FinOps on lead times and costs.
• Mentor capacity planners and introduce AI-enabled planning tools.
