Cloud Business Intelligence Engineer

Location: London (1-2 days per week)
Duration: 4-month initial contract with good scope for extension
Rate: £450 - £500 per day (Umbrella-PAYE)

Our client, a blue chip company, is seeking a Cloud Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team on a long-term project. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience and be capable of creating dashboards, reports, and collaborating with front-end developers on web-based visualisations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based BI solutions.
2. Create and manage data models, dashboards, and reports using cloud platforms.
3. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
4. Perform data analysis to support decision-making, leveraging cloud data services.
5. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within cloud environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

1. Proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
2. Experience with cloud BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on cloud data solutions.
4. Knowledge of ETL processes and cloud data integration tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, especially in remote or distributed teams.
