Location: Remote | Full-Time | Monday - Friday 8AM to 4:30PM CST | Weekends and after hours as needed | United States

The Business Intelligence Developer (BID) serves as a senior technical resource on the Business Intelligence team, providing subject matter expertise across the entire BI landscape, with a focus on SQL. Responsibilities include dashboard & report development, ETL and data warehouse development, adhering to best practices, and mentoring analysts. The BID collaborates with the BI Manager to design and implement robust solutions, verify data accuracy, validate data models, and identify advanced reporting needs by engaging with customers and analyzing data.
The BID works closely with analysts, application analysts, and customers to understand reporting needs, requiring knowledge of relational databases, data models, and data structures that support the health system's information sharing. Strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills are essential. The role demands the ability to work in a time-critical environment, adapt quickly, work independently, and prioritize effectively, always aligning with the health system's policies and standards.
Reports to: Business Intelligence Manager
Supervises: None
Involves sitting, movement within the office and facilities, some travel, and physical motions like repetitive motions of wrists and hands. Exposure to body fluids and tissues may occur. Requires visual acuity, the ability to work extended periods, and the capacity to handle high-stress situations with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, emotional stability, professional etiquette, and proficiency with office technology and clinical judgment applicable across all age groups.
